She is waiting for the National Protection Unit to provide protection measures for herself and her nuclear family to protect their lives.
Several days previously, paramilitary threats and harassment were directed at the leader Diana Susana Angulo.
On Sunday at 10:30 p.m., the youth leader of the Puente Nayero Humanitarian Space received a call on her cell phone in which they warned her, “Do not continue going out like this, you already know that we have you on our list.” During that day, Diana visited her relatives who live in another sector of Buenaventura, disobeying the orders from the paramilitaries. The phone call came from the number 321-152-2635.
On Monday, August 18, our commission was informed that about 3:00 p.m. the one known as “Chinga” arrived at the Humanitarian Space through the tidal area and stayed for almost an hour, then left the same way toward the street known as Piedras Cantan.
At 8:50 p.m. on Monday, two paramilitaries, one identified as “Jordan,” entered the Puente Nayero Humanitarian Space through the main gate. The armed men stopped for some minutes directly in front of the house of the youth leader. Because of the reaction of the community, they left the Humanitarian Space.
“Jordan” is the one who acts as commander of the structure of “The Gaitanistas,” who stay on and control the street known as Piedras Cantan.
